Roof Inspection
During a roof inspection, I start by walking the property to look for signs of storm-related damage around the exterior—things like dents in gutters, downspouts, or AC units that can indicate hail impact. Then I safely access the roof to examine each slope closely, checking for missing, lifted, or creased shingles from wind, as well as hail hits, soft spots, or damage to vents and flashing. I take detailed photos of any damage I find and often mark hail impacts with chalk to make them easier to document. If needed, I also inspect the attic for signs of leaks or moisture.
Throughout the process, I’m focused on identifying any storm damage that could compromise the roof’s ability to protect the home. I compile a damage report with photos and clear explanations, which helps homeowners understand the condition of their roof and prepares them for the insurance process if necessary. My goal is to give each homeowner peace of mind—either by confirming their roof is sound or by guiding them through next steps if repairs or replacement are needed.
